THE Cleveland Cavaliers are booming just at the right time.
LeBron James led the way with 27 points, 10 rebounds, and six assists, as the Cavaliers picked up a signature 112-106 win over the Toronto Raptors, the No. 1 seed in the Eastern Conference.

In NBA, With the win, the Cavaliers remained the third seed in the East, and are victors in nine of their last 10 games. With the playoffs fast approaching, it seems James is in as good a position as he’ll ever be, heading into the postseason.

Kevin Love finished with 18 points and 15 rebounds for the Cavaliers, while Jose Calderon stepped up in a big way, posting 17 points in the win in NBA.

For the Raptors, DeMar DeRozan finished with a team-high 19 points, to go with seven assists.

WARRIORS vs THUNDER… KD vs RUSS… FIRST ROUND MATCHUP?

In NBA, The matchup between the Golden State Warriors and Oklahoma City Thunder has become an interesting one, and Wednesday’s (AEST) game proved it.

It was a feisty affair, with both teams seemingly competing with an added motivation.

The Warriors walked away with the 111-107 victory; Kevin Durant leading the way with 34 points, 10 rebounds, and four assists.

He went up against his former teammate, Russell Westbrook, who dropped an impressive line of his own: 44 points, 16 rebounds, and six assists, in the Thunder loss iN NBA.

The Warriors have locked up the No. 2 seed in the Western Conference, while the Thunder are still fighting for a spot in the postseason, and could finish anywhere between the fourth and 10th seed.

Should the Thunder finish as the seventh seed, they would face the Warriors in the first round of the playoffs; a series that would feature a number of the NBA’s biggest stars, animosity between Westbrook and Durant, all creating one of the league’s budding rivalries.

AUSSIES IN ACTION

Ben Simmons finished with 15 points, 12 rebounds, and six assists, in the Philadelphia 76ers’ 121-95 win over the Brooklyn Nets.

In the San Antonio Spurs’ 113-110 loss to the Los Angeles Clippers, Patty Mills recorded 17 points and five assists.
